Our two core classes serve different, complementary purposes on your boxing & fitness journey.
🥊 Boxing Fundamentals
• Perfect For: Absolute beginners or those returning to boxing after a break who want to build a solid technical foundation from the ground up.
• Focus: This class is skill-first. We systematically break down the essentials: proper stance, footwork, basic punches (jab, cross, hook), defensive movements (slips, rolls), and core principles. The pace is instructional, with ample time for coach feedback to ensure you develop safe, effective habits.
• Goal: To build confidence and competency in the fundamentals of boxing in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
🔥 HTD Boxing Training Camp
• Perfect For: All levels, but best suited for those with some experience. It's the go-to class for intermediate/advanced students and fundamentals graduates looking to apply their skills at a higher intensity.
• Focus: This is a dynamic, high-energy workout that blends boxing skill with elite conditioning. The focus changes daily—some sessions are boxing-technique heavy with complex combos and partner drills, while others are more conditioning-focused to build power, speed, and endurance. The routines are constantly varied to challenge your body and mind.
• Goal: To elevate your overall fitness, boxing athleticism, and ring IQ through intense, varied training.
Quick Guide:
• New or Rusty? Start with Beginners Boxing Fundamentals.
• Got the basics and want a challenging, varied workout? Step into the Boxing Training Camp.
We intentionally cap our group classes at 15 students. This optimal size ensures our coaches can provide safe, personalized feedback to every participant while maintaining the energetic group atmosphere we're known for. You'll never feel like just a number in a crowded room.
• A 60-minute class usually follows this flow:
• Warm-up (10-15 min): Dynamic stretching, jump rope, light calisthenics.
• Technical Instruction (15-20 min): Coach demonstrates and breaks down punches, combos, or defensive moves.
• Workout Rounds (20-25 min): Putting skills to work on bags, mitts, or in partner drills using constant movement.
• Cool-down & Core (5-10 min): Static stretching and abdominal work.
No, we currently do not offer open gym access at either location.
All training at H.T.D NYC is instructor-led, including our group classes, semi-private sessions, personal training, and specialized courses like the H.T.D Battle Ready Course and Fight Camp.
We focus on providing structured, coach-guided workouts to ensure you're getting the most out of every session—whether you're just starting out, sharpening your boxing IQ, or looking to take your fitness to the next level.
If you're looking for a guided experience with real coaching and results, we'd love to have you train with us.
Due to the high-intensity, dynamic nature of boxing—which includes explosive movements, impact, and strenuous conditioning—our group classes are not a suitable or safe environment for managing existing injuries or medical conditions.
Your safety is our absolute priority. We cannot provide the individualized medical supervision or modifications required in a group setting.
Our strong recommendation is this:
1. First, obtain written clearance from your physician or physical therapist for high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and impact activities.
2. If cleared, contact us to discuss the possibility of private one-on-one sessions. This is the only format where our coaches can properly tailor a program to work around your specific limitations in a controlled and safe manner.
We appreciate your understanding that this policy is in place to prevent further injury and ensure a safe, productive environment for all our members.
For administrative and liability reasons, our class packages, private sessions, courses, and memberships are non-transferable and registered to a single individual. This policy helps us ensure the correct tracking of attendance and progress and ensures our waiver and safety protocols are properly maintained for each participant.
If you'd like to treat a family member or friend to the boxing experience, we highly recommend purchasing a Gift Card.(https://www.htdnyc.com/gift-card) This allows them the flexibility to choose their own package or class type and register under their own name. It’s the perfect gift for any fitness enthusiast! You can purchase digital gift cards directly on our website.

Our dedicated Youth Boxing class for athletes ages 8 to 16 is held every Saturday at 12:00 PM. We advise checking our live Training Calendar on our website or app for the most current schedule and any holiday adjustments.
As our community grows, we may consider adding more class times based on demand. The calendar is always the most reliable source for the latest schedule.
Please note: Once a student turns 17, they are eligible to join our regular adult class schedule.
We maintain a lost and found at the front desk. If you realize you’ve left something behind, please contact us as soon as possible during business hours, and we will check for your item.
To help us:
• Please be ready to describe the item in detail.
• Mention the specific class date and time you attended.
For the security of all belongings, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. We strongly encourage you to keep your valuables with you at all times and use the cubbies or lockers provided for your other gear. Unclaimed items are disposed of periodically.
While our regular group classes are designed with an intensity and pace that present significant liability risks for individuals over 60, we are deeply committed to helping everyone find a safe and effective path to fitness.
We would be happy to discuss the option of private one-on-one instruction. Private sessions allow for activities to be fully customized, closely monitored, and tailored to any specific health considerations, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience.
